👨🏻‍💼 “You’ve spend quite a lot of time on this piece of code…” 👨‍💻 “I did.” 👨🏻‍💼 “But… it looks very simple… almost trivial.” 👨‍💻 “Exactly, thanks, that’s why it took so long.”

@mieldonkers I think much more emphasis on requirements analysis, you’ll need faster client feedback and involvement. Deployment pains need extra attention…

AI allow us to produce code much faster, especially in the right hands. But: this won't automatically make you much more productive. Where we previously accepted certain slower processes, these now become a main bottleneck. Maybe it's requirements? Maybe it's deployment?

@OjasSharma276 The cheap LLM investements are starting to run out, providers can't keep giving away compute at such a big discount. When they start raising prices you know they _have_ to, and all will follow shortly. These huge valuations are going to be paid for by us, the consumers.

From 1st June, people who rely on AI for everything in their companies are gonna get cooked. In our stand up, we discussed that we can’t use AI for every single task anymore. The token consumption for each model is getting way higher. Right now, Claude Opus 4.6 takes 3x tokens, but from 1st June it’s apparently going to take 27x. Your GitHub Copilot quota will probably be gone within the first 2-3 days itself.

@leshuuuk @helicerat0x Exactly, every team that wins some initial matches will turn positive; some will lose, but it seems they are calculating swings.

Random dude bet on 48 out of 48 nations to win the 2026 FIFA World Cup Spent $50.5K backing every single country on Polymarket He’s already closed some positions for $100K in profit Fun fact - he did the exact same thing for the IEM Cologne Major 2026 What’s going on here?
Leshuk@leshuuuk

Random dude on Polymarket backed 32 out of 32 teams to win the IEM Cologne Major 2026 31 of 32 entries were at 0.03 odds Sizes ranged from $50 to $1000 per bet Total odds sum up to 1.43 Is he trying to buy $1 for $1.43 or am I missing something?

@CNBC Can someone explain to me why? I really have no clue what the benefits would be, super awkward up/down-link, complex radiative cooling requirements, awful maintenance, unable to fix or upgrade anything...
