@AFL @MichaelWhiting Northern Academies were created to offset newly created teams not having access to father/sons. Teams like Brisbane have double dipped and that’s the reality. The AFL have looked the other way for years and the poor cousins like St Kilda have had enough.

"Brisbane have asked for Pick 16 or a Future 1st for Ah Chee, who has agreed to a five-year deal at the Crows. Brisbane list boss Dom Ambrogio drafted Ah Chee at the Suns and rates him highly, but he doesn’t have a lot of bargaining power given he’s out of contract. Ah Chee told Brisbane two months ago so they’d have time to prepare for exactly this scenario. Adelaide won’t budge on a future second round pick, given they currently don’t have a second round selection in this year’s draft. This is a classic who blinks first?
