@runalongwomble Just finished this. Not as captivating as his Sherlock books but it had work to do to set up the premise. The end suggests that the series will continue and I certainly enjoyed it enough to pick up a second book up should there be one.

@Nick_Metcalfe I don’t mind it , but the quality did give the impression they were playing for the right to be absolutely destroyed in today’s final by Judd.

It’s worth saying that long drawn out snooker is among my favourite genre of snooker. Part of the reason I fell in love with the sport. But there are times it slips over into something that doesn’t feel enjoyable. Is this an example of that? A few of you already telling me it is.
