For a team that had been so leaky, Connacht have only conceded two tries in their last two games. Kept Munster scoreless for 68 mins. Kept Edinburgh scoreless for 73 mins. Remarkable turnaround under Stuart Lancaster, who has also managed to enhance Connacht’s attacking DNA.

@stephenjones9 As a Leinster fan, let me say the SA clubs have added to the competitiveness of the URC and hope they stay.

So SA teams may leave the two Euro rugby events as Sunday Times predicted in February. They should never have been invited in the first place and have added nothing. Let's hope they dump the URC too, the event sorely needs more focus and less bonkers travel.
