Sometimes you wonder how Warblers gets their unique colorations. However that happened, they sure are lovely to look at, like this Chestnut-sided Warbler. Even more fun when it stops by our backyard in south #CorpusChristiTX #Birds

Recent Sedge Wren flitting about in a tree near Packery Channel in south #CorpusChristiTX. They're usually difficult to snap a pic of, since they are constantly on the move. #Birds.

@surfgoldbeaches This particular one was right next to Bob Hall Pier - on the south side of it. But I see the white and red morph Reddish Egrets in many locations. Probably most often seen in Port A at Turnbull Birding Center.

Yesterday we had a bunch of random migrants pass through our yard. Most surprising was this male Western Tanager, which hung out briefly in the pond area. I caught him on one of my trail cams here. #CorpusChristiTX #Birds

Some today birds in our south #CorpusChristiTX backyard. We had a slight cool front come in the last few days and #Birds are moving so nice to see a few different migrants. Blackburnian Warbler, Orchard Oriole, Philadelphia Vireo and Yellow Warbler.

The other day, we had some really strong winds and a large influx of migrating birds. With that, most birds decided to settle in for a day or two. When the weather changed, they were ready to move northward. That meant a few days of incredible birding. #PortAransasTX #Birds

@RubeSA47 The gilas in my area get the feeder rocking so bad that they get sugar water all over the ground.

One of our neighborhood friends, this male Golden-fronted Woodpecker, is showing you how it uses that tail for leverage on the hummingbird feeder. Another bird that has a sweet tooth for that sugar water. #CorpusChristiTX #Birds #Nature
