𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 ᴘᴀʀᴛ 2. ((An agreed collaborative by @mortuiviventes_ )) Closer and closer. Rainy felt the gem of darkness nearby. She could feel everything around her shifting and changing. Soon she’d obtain a much needed piece of the puzzle to taking down the ruthless tyrant, aka Zeno King Frieza. The Rubian landed upon a desolate planet within the middle of nowhere. She hadn’t seen a world in hours. This planet had no solar system, but a single star very very far away. It was miraculous how this world even maintained itself. The atmosphere was thick and heavy. Gravity 50x normal. She began to sweat while doing a simple thing as to walking. Dark colors everywhere she looked. “What the hell kind of world is this…? Darkness all around… The world itself feels so negative… Must be the effects of the darkness gem…” Rainy walked until she reached a temple area. The signal for the gem was getting stronger. Even the sapphire gem within the middle of her forehead began to flicker, as if reacting to something. She was very close. Then — at the far hall down the way — the ᴅᴀʀᴋɴᴇss ɢᴇᴍ. Her dark cherry hues widened in awe. Upon reaching it, she felt the gravity increase to 100x times and the air felt too thick to breathe. The Rubian Princess pushed through, inching closer and closer until she finally just about touched it. The moment she touched the gem, her entire body glowed purple and black. Her eyes becoming bright red. She felt the darkness surging through every fiber of her being. She groaned and fell to her knees. Her heart began to race, as she lowered her head down, trying to catch herself. While in the midst of struggling, she heard Kawaki’s voice in her head. She could hear him communicating that he’d successfully obtained the gem of ice. Right before Rainy lost herself, she felt herself snap back to reality. His voice had saved her from the void. “Kawaki, I knew you’d do it. This is great. I’ve just discovered the gem of darkness! Now you have light and ice, I have lightning and darkness, Zilla has Earth and Okura just found the gem of water. That just leaves one more and we’ve done it!” The more she heard Kawaki’s voice in her mind, her smile began to fade. She didn’t like what he was telling her. “𝘞𝘢𝘪𝘵 — 𝘐 𝘥𝘰𝘯’𝘵 𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘥. The way he was talking, it sounded like she was about to lose her best friend all over again. He was going away for a long time and not coming back until his dilemma was resolved. It was then that a time space portal opened and Kawaki stepped through. He handed Rainy the light and ice gems. His last goodbye would be a kiss and a close embrace. After a while they parted ways. A tear ran down her cheek as she smiled through the sadness. “Don’t make a damn promise unless you’re going to keep it. You better come back to me, you idiot. I’ll — miss you…” Kawaki smiled at her subtly and disappeared back through his space time portal. Despite having almost collected all eight sacred gems of Rubius, Rainy felt herself not caring about any of this. She felt even more lonely now than when she did when she lost Kawaki the first time. “Kawaki. . .” 𝒯𝑜 𝒷𝑒 𝒸𝑜𝓃𝓉𝒾𝓃𝓊𝑒𝒹. . .

She shook her head. “No no, it’s fine. I just see you and then little Rai. You’re like an older brother to him.” She smiled.

Her smile fading a bit, hearing the way he spoke to her. “You’re funny, Zarbon. You 𝓭𝓸 know we are the same side, right?”

She was involved with people he knew? A brow rose in suspicion. “Deepa? Can’t say I’ve heard that name before. Who do I know, that you know?” Rainy analyzed him head to toe. Her eyes settled upon the Roman numeral VII on his cheek. Where’d she see that before?

@RubianPrincess “Really? Thats impressive i have one card up my sleeve not sure how good it would be tho.” “Do you know roughly how strong he really is?”

“Ohhhh — you know my bestie. Her and I are very close.” A smile formed on her purple lips.

“Maybe so, but I thought we’d be more like an older brother and sister relationship at first. Didn’t know I’d seem like a mother figure to you.”

Rainy hugged her future son back and sighed. She understood the laws of time, but had grown very used to him being here with them. She rubbed his back while holding him close. “I wish there were something I could do, Artemis. You don’t want to get in trouble with the Time Patrol. Just what was your father planning on doing? Harboring you forever? That would not work out in the long run.”

@RubianPrincess "Well jaco didn't really get to explain much, once father heard that I had to leave he flew into a rage!" The young coyote admitted before sighing. "I had to pry father off of jaco just to stop him from killing jaco!" He admitted with a sweatdrop rolling down his head.

"Damnit.... i knew the time would come but why now!?" Lavender snarled in anger, shattering a bunch of pots in the room, smashing the very room apart. "If i find that little space traveling twig I'M GOING TO SNAP HIM IN HALF!!!" The coyote shouted while artemis was outside

“The same level? But, are we really?” She gave the other Princess a cocky smirk, sipping down on her coffee once more. “You’re the one who boasted they’d take back their kingdom in one week flat. Who’s the one who’s full of themselves?” Rainy took another sip of her coffee before snapping her fingers. Her attendants went to go fetch the dress for Selya. Within a few minutes they came back with a form fitting sparkling black dress. It also came with a set of black stilettos. They placed it right in front of the Saiyan. “There you are. The dress you gotta wear. This’ll be a good watch.”

@madarauchihe “He’s — all over. . .” Her eyes shifted left to right and back around. “Omnipresent, omniscient and omnipotent. . .”

@RubianPrincess “Yeah. Shibai huh. Well where is he if you know that?”

“You — have?” She blinked her eyes a few times. “I’m sure I would’ve remembered you if I saw you. Who are you anyway?”

She chuckled in amusement. Rainy tried wine at only 5 years old. This guy was way behind in her mind. Rainy didn’t have a normal childhood. “Anyways, why are you up so late? Shouldn’t you be in bed?”

Rainy began to chuckle to Shura’s expression after he took a sip of wine. “Wow. You really are just a kid, huh? There’s only 9 years between us, but I feel like there’s much more.”

@madarauchihe “Their boss? You mean. . .the actually god of them all? Shibai?” Her eyes narrowed at the very name. She didn’t even catch sight of him blushing over Kanya.

@RubianPrincess “Yeah. I plan to take the ones that are bad down now. Maybe you know but who is their boss?” And to the comment of kaya. He just rubbed the back of his head with a timt flush. “Yeah-“

She nodded her head and offered him the glass of wine. “Just a sip. It’s a little strong at first, but not too bad.”

@madarauchihe “So, you’re another who hates those beings. I happen to be aligned with a handful of them. A few are my enemies. Not to worry, I won’t tell her you think she’s cute. Kanya does deserve to be treated right.”

@RubianPrincess “Yeah shes a nice one,if im being real i hate the otsutsuki but- shes. Quite the cute one. Dont tell her you heard that from me..”

Cue a sweat drop rolling down alongside her face. “Um — I’m only like 22. Not much older than you. You talk like you’re some child.”
