One of my journalism lecturers who taught me at City University in London is the legendary Reuters global correspondent, Colin Bickler. He taught us that for propaganda to be effective, it must first be believable. Propaganda is not built on outright lies. It is a calculated mixture of truth blended with spin, facts selectively framed to push a narrative rather than fabrications conjured from thin air. That is why the most dangerous propaganda is the one that carries elements of truth, because it disarms the audience and lowers their scepticism. When propaganda abandons credibility and descends into obvious falsehoods, it stops persuading and starts embarrassing those who peddle it. Yoh, my people embarrass me. In media studies, communications theory, and political science, propaganda is widely understood not simply as lies, but as strategic messaging designed to influence perception and behaviour. Effective propaganda works best when it is anchored in recognisable reality. Based on that principle, how do you convince a South African that there are South Africans going to Zimbabwe to seek treatment when 70% of women giving birth at Musina Hospital in Limpopo are from Zimbabwe? How do you convince any global citizen that there are people coming from Denmark and Switzerland to get treatment in Zimbabwe when 2,500 women die every year while giving birth in Zimbabwe because the biggest hospital only has one maternity theatre? How do you convince people in Zambia that there are indeed Zambians who are coming to Zimbabwe to seek treatment when the whole of Mashonaland West goes to seek treatment in Zambia for serious ailments because even Kariba, the premier tourism asset in that part of the country, has no X-ray machine? Yoh, let us not allow ourselves to ridicule the country like this, where people like this Doctor say this kind of nonsense and the biggest newspaper in Zimbabwe publishes it. Are these people coming for pethidine fixes due to addictions? We might never know!

@daddyhope @john_mcnally Actually no, there are long queues in both Cape Town and Joburg, the systems are not yet electronic, whereas in Harare systems are now electronic. You are nauseating with your hate of your motherland 🙄

My condolences to Garry Mapanzure’s family on his tragic passing. It is painful that he died partly because there was no ICU ambulance in Masvingo to transport him so that he could be helped. As I have always said, accidents are taking our people because the healthcare system collapsed. We need a public healthcare system that works in order to save lives otherwise everyone of us can befall the same tragedy. Until this issue is resolved, many more will die unnecessarily. Rest in Peace Garry.

The main difference between my profitable & unprofitable periods is that during the unprofitable ones I was doing something different each trade. The goal is to get a point of repetition where each part of the trade (setup, trigger,management) is generally done the same everytime

$SPX Big Picture: With the recent low at 2600, SPX is forming a large, perfect upward sloping flag on the weekly chart. These are often bearish and this should break down, but until 2600 support goes there is plenty of room to rally and form a larger topping pattern into year end

B pivot was a hair of getting clipped. Still think overnight they clip it and it bounces from there. Currently bid the B pivot area. Also note lots of blocks where at the close on $SPY. Bounce looks to be in store. Do we sell the rip. Yet to be seen... $SPX

It only took 3 weeks for $SPX to erase its year-to-date gains. Its coming to support in the 2640-2610 region on my chart, on the most oversold weekly RSI since the Oct 2011 low. This is major uptrend support from Feb and its unlikely this area fails without a good bounce first

I've found less is more when it comes to trading & simplicity pays. When I started I wanted to learn as many patterns and setups as possible and I would look for them all in every market. Over time I realized I just needed 1 or 2 setups, applied with discipline and consistency
