Anyone else feel that OTPs for parcel deliveries should be discontinued? I strongly believe it should legally.
We're flooded with OTPs every day and that makes it much easier for scammers to confuse people into sharing the wrong one. Many people end up losing money or getting hacked simply because they mistake one OTP for another. Older people are even more vulnerable.
If parcel deliveries didn't require OTPs, we'd have far fewer codes to keep track of, making it easier to recognize when someone is trying to trick us. Reducing unnecessary OTPs could go a long way in preventing scams.

CAs are the most under confident professionals in India.
How do you justify charging a ₹2500 annual flat fee while giving out year round, on demand business and tax advice over Call and WhatsApp any time of the day?
A doctor takes ₹1000 per visit. A lawyer won't even give an opinion without a fee. Yet CAs give away premium consulting for free just to keep a client.
Why can't CAs charge consultation fees? Who exactly is stopping you?

A very old client of mine with bulk itr contacted me again. All it did was, made me so anxious and spiral n reminded me of that difficult time. Just for 20 ITRs theyd bargain way too hard for fees. Claiming we have so many other CA contacts and all. But I was very clear from the start, bulk or not I won't do any itr for less than 1500. Then theyd spend way too much time in my office, just wasting our time about tds amount, matching it and also asking for it over n again on the phone for the same thing. Then came the balance sheet figures, confirmation n reconfirmation of loans amount. Then after filing comes delay in paying me and me constant reminding that refund has nothing to do with my fees. And then constant calling when we will get the refund.
This was a learning experience for me on what type of clients i definitely don't want and what id tolerate n won't. Knowing that money was worth nothing with what me and my team had to handle.

@nirajgchauhan Maybe sometimes but it's a good deal as well if clients don't misbehave

@RageMonk If they had decency to sign an agreement they wouldn't actually behave this way

@RubyAnsari_RA These guys only behave if you treat them like shit. If you deal with them as a normal sensible client then they will drive your mental health into the ground.
Easiest way to sign an agreement with your limits and charge your market rate+30% and ask them to only contact staff.

@RubyAnsari_RA Started reminding so many times in April to send all bank details and other documents for accounting and they have on end of June now they call daily to complete account in busy working days how to change such mind of a people

Not every client is worth taking on, no matter the volume. Some clients cost you more in time, energy and peace of mind than they pay you in fees.
Know your worth. Know your boundaries. And don’t be afraid to say no next time.
