As we celebrate on this beautiful Palm Sunday, may we greet Christ as the Apostle John did, John 12: 13 “Took branches of palm trees, and went forth to meet him, and cried, Hosanna: Blessed is the King of Israel that cometh in the name of the Lord.” Dear Lord, our Father in Heaven, we thank You for what this day stands for, the beginning of Holy Week, the start of Jesus journey towards the power of the cross, the victory of the resurrection, and the rich truth that Jesus truly is our King of Kings. Lord God, almighty, all merciful, how great is Your love that You went down to the depths for us into suffering, sin, and shame, into darkness, death and despair. Help us to lay at Your feet all that we have and all that we are, trusting You to forgive what is sinful, to heal what is broken, to welcome our praises, and to receive us as Your own. Lead us now on the road from Your cross to the gates of Your kingdom. May we follow with faithfulness and joy, shouting hosanna in the highest heaven, through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior we pray, Amen 🙏✝️

Fill us with respect for others, save us from self-conceit, and grant in that no rivalry, no flare of temper, may spring up among us. Bring us to the cross of Jesus, that we may find salvation. Help us to know our sins and repent of them. You have called on us to take hold of eternal life. Help us to run with resolution the race that lies before us, our eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. May he always be to us the pattern we follow, the only redeemer we trust, the master we serve, and the loving friend to whom we turn.
