Rare "W Update thank you devs" comment from pro/comp minded person. Addressed a lot of my complaints from the last few years with this one and sets up future updates with a really solid direction imo. Conduit looks fun and rewarding again, Ash looks fun again, Axle looks incredibly fun (if a little OP), Vantage is heading in the right direction even if her Q is easy af to track. Not sure about the Deathbox respawns but the old system was definitely a little infuriating at times with Beacons just sometimes not spawning on an entire half of the map. Really like the map updates on BM and the removal of Tridents though. They've both been a problem for years and the new rotate options on BM look to solve at least a couple of the macro issues on that map and might (??) make it a viable comp map maybe??? W update, love the logic behind these changes and hope to see more of this kind of thing!! Now, back into hiding until next patch I guess LOL

@dantex26 @Dropped What about the players that have become the best versions of themselves, have gotten Top5 at world championships, and still aren't being paid? what are they meant to do? starve? The money has to come at some point or the business collapses.

Players should be willing to put in full-time practice hours and be fully dedicated if they want to become the best versions of themselves and earn anything in esports. They do it because they want to — not because they can afford to, thanks to some generous org paying for them to give it a try.

Let me clear the air about me "chasing the bag". Maybe I'll make a video with more details in the future. The point is, if you have a stable job outside of Apex, coaching is basically charity work.

Apex Legends has to have the worst updates of any esport or competitive shooter of all time. -Buffed Gibby to the moon after he's been prevalent in comp since BLGS (16 months ago) -Potentially removed the only part about gibby that people actually liked (bub fights) with a Blue Perk -Buffed Wattson after buffing her to the moon only 9 months ago as a part of the Console Legend Overhauls AND with her having a reasonably high pick rate in ALGS -Buffed the 30-30 (Lmao) -Still no E-District in Ranked or Pubs even after removing W-Edge from ALGS for Split 1 Meanwhile you have legends like Conduit, Loba, Bloodhound & Vantage who have desperately needed buffing to keep up with power creep for literally like 2 years at this point. Retirement is hitting good rn icl.

@GGoku3455 Only reason I didnt mention Seer is because had some of our best games in Finals on him and ended up winning (Seer is still ass)

@RubyKaster Conduit, Loba, Bloodhound & Vantage AND Seer he's still underpowered and has issues with his passive being delayed

@RubyKaster Did Respawn forgot about the other changes to Bloody and Catalyst? They are only half there (respawn words, not mine) and they should come with next patch? That is more sad

also enjoy having this AND the unchanged RE-45 Burst as FLOOR LOOT LMAOOOO

@AcheronApex don't worry, now you can insta 3 man TP onto a team with her ult with absolutely no way to punish it!!!! AND Kidnapping is still just as viable as always

@ItsSimplist @Untold_NA not even just the damage buff. Halving the deployment time is NUTS in fights

@Untold_NA @RubyKaster Giving the fences a nearly 100% dmg increase is unnecessary.

@RubyKaster yeah complaining about buffs in the game where every character is useless is for sure the move 👍 (please keep buffing characters respawn 🙏)
