I know she won’t be disappointed with me. I had a lot of mixed and complicated emotions around choosing to not fly home. I felt I let myself down but I didn’t.
My fear of flying is tangled in childhood trauma so it’s not as easy as just battling a fear.

✈️ I did take my selfie for my therapist but I’m nervous to tell her I didn’t make the second flight
✈️ I’m glad I’ve learnt to prioritise myself and took the train home and was able to enjoy my holiday
