@dayendtrader Crude toh top up kar liya tha. It was closer to lower circuit again. Got a hinge that it already triggered a lot of SL so took and holding. But i am unable to size proper and then control it in big profits also sl i take many sl lots of them but very tight ones only.

NQ price action is very weird today. And large moves for Crude, Gold and Silver are over. Holiday for me. Time to tell my wife that I want to take her out for a surprise lunch 🥙 😉

If you’re witnessing this scale of selling for the first time and has protected your account without much damage due to your own risk management practices or by following someone closely who guided you through this. This is your phase 1 learning. There will be 2 possible paths next, from here Trader A - Will make a lot of money in the next bull market which later follows similar bear run + capitulation and he won’t be able to protect most of the gains (market like 2024-25/26 hits). This is a phase 2 learning. This happens because of the over confidence on the skills you built during the bull run and that lead to lack of discipline. Most intelligent traders don’t lose much in their first bear market due to risk they cared as part of phase 1 learning but they do pathetic in the 2nd bear market because they don’t fear now believing their skills and Infact not respecting the risk management. This is based upon the data I have talked to many traders in last 5-6 years. The one I thought were from the intelligent lot made the similar/ same mistakes. Trader B - primarily focused on what not to do rather than finding what to do during bear market runs. Not finding more ways to make money by shorting, intraday, options etc.. etc..but by selectively waiting for small bull rallies in the bear run and knowing the limits of those rallies. The bottom line is no single bull run or single bear run is enough to test your skills thoroughly you need minimum 5 years and 2 complete bull and bear phases to know how you think, how you act and how you react. Unlearn : Learn : Make affordable mistakes : Improve There is no shortcut for this game.
