Im not old enough to have known the Hirst's, Waddle's or Sheridan's. Barry Bannan is the the best player weve ever had in my lifetime. He lived and breathed the club. To lose him like this is a complete and utter travesty to everyone. #Swfc

Now that I've calmed down... With Barry gone from tomorrow.. and it being likely Palmer to take the arm band.. whoever becomes the captain after that has some big boots to fill. Players like Bannan don't come around often, they're generational.. and I'm so happy to say I got to witness every single minute of it. The man genuinely does deserve a statue, and I will petition for one frequently until I see it happen. This man became a big reason my children were so quick on getting hooked, they absolutely love him.. The bloke deserves to end his career under much better circumstances, I just wish it could have been with us.. under much better circumstances.
