Amnesty is a free pass. It is what exists now. With the DIGNITY Act, you come forward, you face the law, you pass background checks, you pay what you owe, and you earn your place or you get deported. Criminals? Gone. American workers? Protected. Our national security depends on it. Our economy demands it. Our communities need it. And yes, our faith calls us to do this the right way, with order and accountability. That’s enforcement. That’s DIGNITY. Calling this amnesty is a lie that keeps a broken system alive and Americans paying the price.

戦艦「大和」艦内神社の分霊元である大和神社（奈良県天理市）のほか、日本各地で慰霊祭や追悼式が執り行われます。
「天一号作戦」の水上特攻で散華された第二艦隊司令長官伊藤整一命以下3,721柱の安らかならんことを心より祈念いたします。散華された一人一人が、生き残ることができていたら生きたかったであろう時代に、私たちは生かされています。彼らが今に繋いでくれたこの日本を、私たちは未来へ繋いでいく努力をしていかなければなりません。気持ち新たに、私も自身にできる事を、継続してまいりたいと思います。
Today, April 7, marks the anniversary of the sinking of the battleship “Yamato.”
Memorial services and ceremonies will be held across Japan, including at Ōyamato Shrine (Tenri City, Nara Prefecture), which serves as the source shrine for the shrine aboard the battleship “Yamato.”
We pray from the bottom of our hearts for the peaceful rest of Commander-in-Chief of the Second Fleet, Seichi Ito, and the 3,721 others who made the ultimate sacrifice in the “Operation Ten-Go 1” surface suicide attack. We are alive today in an era that each of those who made the ultimate sacrifice would surely have wished to live in had they survived. We must strive to pass on this Japan—which they have handed down to us—to future generations. With renewed resolve, I, too, intend to continue doing what I can.
