@laflammerouge16 It doesnt make sense from Seixas point of view. Why would he resign the classics (strade, ardentes, Lombardia)if he can be total leader in any other team? From UAE point of view ofc makes sense.

@RuiMArmada Because Pogacar doesn't like to go to Grand Tours, specially TDF. So UAE gets a new TDF captain freeing Pogacar to this duty to focus win Roubaix and what's missing. It makes sense on the paper.

@StatsOnCycling PCS scoring system is not good far from reality. You know that when you have Valverde on 6th. Never won TdF or Giro, only 1 Vuelta, 1 WC and 4 LBL wins. Now check the guys behind him. PCS is more all time PCS points, not greatest of all the time.

I'll be honest, I wasn't expecting him at his best yet, so short after his leg injury, but it's still a shame not to see him present.

Sadly, Wout van Aert will not be able to start in Omloop het Nieuwsblad on Saturday, as he has fallen ill. The winner of the 2022 edition of the race, will take his time to recover. Wout van Aert: “Obviously it’s a big blow for me to miss out on my first race, having prepared for the classics season the whole winter. We had a good training camp at Sierra Nevada and I was feeling really strong. But unfortunately, it’s also that time of the year where it’s easy to fall ill. I remain positive about the feeling I had on training and am confident that I will be able to return to racing soon. Just not this Saturday.” Wout will be replaced by Pietro Mattio.

So how are you guys rating the Jebel Mobrah climb debut? Definitely a big success, I say but it shouldn't be used every year, alternate it with Jebel Jais or Jebel Hafeet. It might be a too hard climb for February but the show was great from the couch. 😂
