Our government is torching our most important strategic alliance. This disaster should be understood in context. The U.S. did not ask us to choose between friends. It asked for help degrading a mutual enemy, a toxic regime that has actively attacked us. And we said no.

The NHS employs many excellent people but is overstuffed with management. It was designed to be state controlled and that is intrinsically inefficient.
