@Chuck_Mate_ Go read the article please. It doesn’t say he’s closing them down. As an Akron alum and current instructor, UofA has been in financial trouble for years. The enrollment base is down at least 40%. It’s a constant stress on the university.

I strongly doubt it. Kent and NCTC are not investigators and had no jurisdiction to investigate Kirk or anybody's murder.
At the end of the day, he's a rando administration official with an opinion. If the defence tried to call him, there is a good chance the judge would rule his potential testimony was irrelevant and not material.
