@R3birth @ThePlagueNFT It used to mean decentralization and dreams. Now im not quite sure. I do know it is the last nft project I will be apart of with no plans on leaving. Where I fit in those plans I have no idea it seem the two tier class system has got me again.

Asking the people who've been here a while: What does The Plague mean to you right now?

@R3birth @DoorDash Anything tip based has changed to the tip being part of compensation. Tip should be an extra for service not relied on by businesses to maintain their workforce.

Name another service where you pay the tip before you know how the service is going to be. That's @DoorDash. You tip before the driver even picks up your food. And if your food shows up ice cold with missing items from a restaurant 10 minutes away? Too bad. Tip's already gone. Back in the day the pizza guy showed up and you tipped him based on how fast he got there and how hot the food was. That made sense. This doesn't. I've been a DashPass subscriber since it launched. 9 out of my last 10 orders had something wrong. Canceled today. Going back to calling the restaurant and picking it up like a normal person.

@Pons_ETH I have learned the nft community are gamblers and seeking immediate gratification and quick wins. I switched focus and just bought things I like with inherent value rather than following the market.

I was reflecting on what being a founder in the crypto space has done for me personally. It certainly has not been enriching. I would define it as a net loss if you include opportunity cost. I concluded that it has done two things for me. 1.) Opened my eyes to human nature. I have studied human nature for a long time. But I was never on social media, and I have always been good about avoiding people that cause issues. In short, I have been in a bubble. Being on X has broken me out of that bubble. 2.) Humbled me professionally. If you have followed me any amount of time, or if you hold one of my NFTs then you know why.

@Pons_ETH @ThePlagueNFT I can definetly respect the exclusivity. Even if I dont get in still glad to see the plague pushing forward :)

We are wrapping up the first phase of our new Discord for the @ThePlagueNFT But most people will not get into the discord. Holding a frog won't get you in automatically. Your reputation will matter, and you will need others to vouch for you. The first group that I vouch for, will have a limited number of vouches, and you do not want to vouch for someone who may potentially get kicked in the future. I will send a separate post on how it works in detail. There is a reason why The Plague community is still one of the strongest in CT. It is because of the people. And it will be because of the people that we are still standing and thriving for years to come. That being said, no community can hold together in the long run if it is not somewhat exclusive. More to come.

The Xeet Certified Creator process has resumed. Over the next few days we will continue to notify creators that qualified. The application process has now reopened as well. Why do we need Xeet Certified Creators if there is no more InfoFi? We said many times we didn't consider ourselves an InfoFi platform or a data company. However, we needed to clean up the farmers and spammers from participating before launching the next phase(s). More to come on this. NOTE: In the meantime we continue to work with clients that had existing campaigns (or campaigns that had ended) to ensure they live up to their end of the bargain on the rewards promised. We will send updates on this as we have them.
