POV you’re playing a $10,000 buy-in cash. The guy to your left is -35bb/100 playing a maniac aggresive style. 70% VPIP. But he’s chain smoking cigarettes. Obviously this guy gets his own rules, and no one dares to complain. How long you playing in this game??

@RunGo0seRun @Sdavies22 @PokerStars I remember battling you, zazano, apotheosis, teunuss, default, nagoya2005, mynameiskarl etc. Good old times. It brings back so many memories and in how many tough spots I found myself against these monsters(including you). So many chips lost 🙂

If you were a @PokerStars grinder like me you probably remember the end-of-year push for Supernova or Supernova Elite. I remember one year being in Canada grinding SNGs nonstop from Christmas Day through New Year’s Eve to get it done

@TeddySimonson @tritonpoker because I prefer staying at home with my family these days and spend less time on poker overall. thx for the warm words though and gotta admit that Triton Montenegro tickles a bit, since it's so close to Vienna:)

@RunGo0seRun Why don’t you play the @tritonpoker events? When you won the Poker Masters a few years ago you were one of the most dominant NL Holdem tournament players I had ever seen.

Imagine a deck with only 3 cards, an A, K, Q. You and your heads-up opponent get dealt one card, the A is the highest value card. There is $1 in the pot, you each have $1 behind. You can bet $1 or check. Your opponent can only call or fold. You get dealt the king. How often should you bet? (I’ll reply tomorrow with the answer)

@kittykuopoker @CrownUpGuy I think he explains it perfectly. Yoh is not bluffing into 2 uncapped ranges here (maybe some nutblockerstuff, but thats it) and Maria calls from UTG. Fedors hand cant improve and is dead a good amount of the time. loving the fold tbh

@ChrisJONeil @padspoker yeah, maybe, wasnt laserfocused certainly. would be supercool for the viewer to have Aces, 2s and 3s shown after they talked strat about this game.

@RunGo0seRun @padspoker I’m pretty sure there was a clip of the dealer shuffling the old cards back in ‘cause I remember knowing that all Aces were in play again before we saw the “5th” ace dealt

Game of Gold Episode 111 thoughts... - I feel like first 10 minutes of this episode (from the last hand in match to we'll see you 6 players tomorrow) could have went to the end of the last episode if there truly is only 2 episodes left, could have had longer intro to the final or something - felt so bad for nikita ;( - Robin definition of GOOD LAD - so intrigued about the temperature in the room, Josh and Maria looked freezing when talking to Ali but Charlie is still there nipples out. Instagram filter with temperature next time please - GG patched Kyna up before throwing in Indian Poker, they are sharp! - Kyna felt uncomfortable on sofa listening to Charlie do the Indian poker strat? Like she knew she already has the info/strat, or maybe she just didn't see any EV to tell them/coach them after she has been neglected abit throguhout by others? [STRAT] I mean I have no fucking idea lol feel like Josh would have been good at this though - Think Jungle/Charlie both strongest in Indian poker from what I could interpret - Interesting Charlie is confident he has such big edge vs Jungle. Charlie only plays Holdem and Jungle plays all the mix stuff and wacky wacky games in some of these mixes. Would imagine Deeb, Jungle, Seiver etc would be the best in world thrown into this enviroment - Not 100% sure Andy stacks yoh the same way, he might have gone 400k or something and Yoh jam? maybe Yoh wouldn't have jammed idk Overall a kinda gimmicky episode but kinda fun too I thought. I have no idea how they conclude in 1 more episode when they were spending 25 mins for some of the trivial heads ups when they are 260bbs deep now? Something doesn't smell right and I sniff something unexpected happening.

I got very emotionally involved in the Game of Gold show and sweated everything hard. I just went there with no expectations and tried to have as much competitive fun as possible. Showing up 100% and giving my best. After the first few episodes I got worried my passion and involvement doesn’t come across properly, but man did I want my team (and myself) to win! The majority of my poker career I’ve been focused on trying to compete as fiercely as possible on the highest of levels. I dedicated thousands of hours to show no weakness and go as hard as I can after my opponents. The result is what you see when you watch footage of me play live poker. No movement. Little speaking. Intensively observing any and every move. Trying to solve the puzzle in front of me. To win. I hope that over the course of the show you can see more facets of my persona that got me there in the first place. My childish curiosity, my passion for learning and my excitement to see people around me succeed. I didn’t try to play a role or had a particular agenda. I just wanted to show up with as much of my character as I could. I didn’t know that going into the show, but I’m happy that it turned out to be about more than just poker. I always felt like there’s more that I wanted to show about myself to give more context to who I am and I’m glad that I participated. It felt good writing this. Now I’m excited for the next episodes!

@Charmonium2 @_pokercode yep, absolutely. but not even sure which number would be "good" or what Solvers would have, so I see those as relative values to compare opponents or spot obvious big leaks as I explained

@Charmonium2 @_pokercode well, I use it as a leakfinderstat. if your efficiency doesnt beat 1 in a lot of spots you are calling waaay too often(you end up calling nuts sometimes, dont forget that). especially for lowstakes players it clearly shows that on average your bluffcatches are -EV
