The most anticipated Pro Day this year just took place and Tennessee CB Jermod McCoy aced the test. The results I’m told were as follows: 4.38 40 (range from others was 4.37-4.41) with 38” VJ and 10’7” BJ. At the Combine, 40 would have been T-2 and BJ T-10 among CBs. The VJ is solid but would have been 13th. McCoy was reportedly cleared to play during the season but opted not to, and he chose not to participate at the Senior Bowl and Combine. So seeing him compete and participate today was critical for teams considering a CB in RD1. He’s CB2 on my board behind only Monsoor Delane (LSU).
