You've got the big 3 with a lob threat (Hayes) and shooter (Rui). Big predicament for MIA.
Herro sticks close to AR, giving Luka a clear angle for the crosscourt pass to Bron. MIA scrambles to close on Bron given that he's shot like 90 FG% the last 2 games. Hayes gets easy lob.

Just did Alex's combo trial on SF6.
The stance and followups will take quite some time to get used to. Also, coming from Manon, Alex's grab range feels so miniscule.
The nice thing though is that there a couple of "Day 1" combos that are pretty easy to execute w/ good dmg.

2) This time Sengun hard hedges on time, but Ayton gets the ball right back to Luka. Ayton re-screens, but this time Sengun lunges hard for a steal. Luka splits the D again - this time with a spin move. Houston helps off AR and Bron. Luka hits Bron for the easy lob. Lmao.

1) HOU looks to get the ball out of Luka's hands, but Sengun's hedge is just late enough to give Luka enough daylight to split the D w/ a behind-the-back dribble. KD brings help, leaving Rui wide open. Easy alley-oop.

When Luka is rolling, opposing defenses have to concede something to stop him.
That said, sagging off Marcus Smart is one thing, but look who HOU helps off of in these plays:
1) Rui (a top 10 shooter by 3P%)
2) AR (elite secondary playmaker)
3) Bron (shot like 95 FG% tonight)

Switching on defense is an attractive option against Luka/Bron/AR.
But if Ayton can play like this, it's going to give LA a guaranteed mismatch off a switch.

Houston switches against Luka/Ayton, Ayton backs down Eason, and KD haphazardly helps on Ayton... leaving Bron completely free to get the easy putback jam.

With about a minute left before halftime, Ayton challenged Eason at the rim with good verticality. Ends up being a Houston TO.
Also, if my ears didn't deceive me, I'm pretty sure it was Smart asking/calling out for help D from Ayton as soon as Eason broke thru the perimeter D.

As a Manon main, I always expect nothing but somehow get disappointed with each patch.
That said, the 'buff' to her HP TC is gonna be funny when it loops back into itself with bHP --> hit grab feint/kick --> HP TC --> bHP again.
