Realistically, there’s a shot there is only 1 or 2 QBs better
-Arch, ok fine
-Sellers wasn’t close last year
-Sayin is overrated IMO
-Mensah would’ve been below him this year
- Moore, I had Simpson over him
- Maiava was talked about as a late first/ early second priority to him going back

If you think it's close, you still go with the 6'5'' 235 pound multiple year starter.
However, the idea that there are 6-8 QBs in 2027 that will be better than Ty Simpson is just classic Next-Year-Itis.

If I had to take a guess as to which QB the @nyjets will target in the middle rounds, I'd go Carson Beck.
Played 3 yrs in SEC. Tall pocket passer Reich covets.
Able to go through progressions to find the open man.
Has his flaws, but which QB doesn't?

Cole Payton put on a show today at his Pro Day! Cole ripped the ball going 52/54. He checked all of the boxes today and displayed why he is one of the best QBs in this draft.
One team is going to land a future franchise QB.

If Ioane is on the board at 16, hard to pass on him IMHO. If #Jets goal is doing everything possible to ensure the next QB is successful, adding a dominant player like Ioane to make their OL one of the absolute best in #NFL is a pretty tempting option.
