Good luck to our Youth Team who face Eagle Sports this evening in the Harry Massam Cup Final. The game is at Warrington Rylands FC and kicks off at 6:30pm. Any support for the lads would be very much appreciated.

This is the line up for the @MidlandLeague Premier Division for the 26/27 season. A good mix of new places to visit and familiar faces as we also renew acquaintances with some local teams who we have played recently in the North West Counties Leagues.

Well done to our Youth Team who beat FC Eagle 2-0 in the semi final of the Harry Massam Cup. Tom Rigby scored both goals and Matty Holliday was man of the match. The final is on Friday night against Eagle Sports. The game is at Warrington Rylands and kicks off at 6:30pm.

Chairman's player of the season - Alex Jones This is a new award for this season and Chairman Alan Bennett chose his player of the season. Alan's award went to Alex Jones who has been a key part of our solid defence this season.

Young player of the season - Will Ebbrell The Carl Droughton Trophy is presented to the top player aged 21 and under. Winner of FIVE monthly keeper of the month awards this season, and keeping a whopping 23 clean sheets in 50 games, the Young Player of the Year is Will Ebbrell.

Player of the season - Will Avon Player of the Season is chosen by the Management Team. Our winner has contributed a lot of clean sheets and assists, solid at the back and dangerous going forward. Your Player of the Year for 2025/26 is Will Avon.

Supporters player of the season - Connor Spiers This year sees this award being renamed as the Kevin Holland Supporters Player of the season award. It was tight at the top, with just three votes separating the top three. This seasons award goes to Connor Spiers.

Players Player of the season - Connor Spiers This is a great award to win with the squad voting for their top performer. It was a close one again this season with several players receiving votes and the winner is Connor Spiers.

Man of the match award - Jamie Apperley After each league match the opposition choose who they think was our man of the match. Out of 36 league games played, we had 16 different man of the match winners. For the second season running, our winner is Jamie Apperley.

Leading goalscorer - Connor Spiers The 'Kevin Looker Globe' is presented to the leading goalscorer each season. This season we had 21 different goal scorers. Our runner up this season, with 21 goals, is Matty Vickers and the winner with an impressive 28 goals, is Connor Spiers.

Most appearances - Four Players! Tom Ruffer missed just one game all season before his departure to Australia. That gave other players the chance to catch up in the last few weeks and along with Tom, Will Ebbrell, Charlie Harland and Alex Jones all finished on 50 appearances.

Thank you to everyone who came along to the First Team Presentation Night. Each of the awards were keenly contested and Connor Spiers was the big winner, taking home 3 of the 8 awards.
