My favorite artist Syd Mead understood something that a lot of artists miss:
A car is never just a car.
A city is never just a city.
It should tell you design, infrastructure, decay, repair, and the society that built it.

I taught kids 3d for years, two different unis. Was crushing to see how 99% of them didn't realize they were already too late. Like if you're a Junior and you haven't been grinding 3d reps the whole time, you prob can't catch up. Your competition has been no-life-ing it since 15.

Self-motivated? Go to YouTube/Skillshare.
Need classroom structure? Community college.
Going all-in? AVOID degree factories. look for strong portfolios, industry teachers, and alumni work.
I don’t regret art school. I DO regret the big debt and weak instruction.

Jokes aside, good teachers who really care are hard to find. His tutorials have saved my ass numerous times, and I’m excited to see him making 3D VTuber art more accessible. 💙⚔️

Tomorrow marks the day my beginner 3D Vtubing course will start, I'm pretty nervous. I wanna do right by y'all since you've shown me overwhelming support these past months over on the patreon etc. It's my hope that these videos will help the next generation of 3D Vtuber artists in the future or just people in general looking to get into character art.
