@PrimevalFantasy What has attracted people are features like the ease of monetization, separating and contacting the paid and unpaid subscribers, the sharing tools, the hosting tools, and the site's focus on helping connect to other substack pages. It gets flak for allowing hate groups to join.

I have years of RPG essays. Is there some advantage to posting them in Substack? If so, what?

Interest, however, is more effective in any approach as it has us focus our attention, and that is the seat of immersion and engagement~

@PrimevalFantasy In addition to things like Passions in BRP and its lineage of systems, some die pool systems like Ubiquity offer means to increase the pool by spending a resource to it to demonstrate a greater commitment to, focus on, or outrage (etc) over am action. Genesys has the Triumph~

We all know about "hysterical strength", that freak surge of raw power when adrenaline takes over, like the woman who lifted a car to save her trapped son. Do any RPGs model this kind of weird panic boost, or is "Barbarian Rage" as close as you've seen?

@MyEarTrumpet Most of the hobby plays many things, has deep discussions, invents wonders, and never share them on the Internet or beyond their property lines. I liked Unisystem a lot(!), but for a lasting appeal I got carried away by Ubiquity instead. Same vein, different blood type~

I've been avoiding buying or reading new cyberpunk games for like 5 years now, but damn I think I might cave and pick up Blade Runner. Looks gorgeous, and I'm curious about the YZ engine v.2. Anyone play? Worth it?
