@nyuprimatology @sjmgarnier This was done in the forest while doing chimpanzee fieldwork. We ate 100 of the same ants chimpanzees eat (army ants) and counted the number of ant remains (heads) in our subsequent faeces - the same method was applied to our analysis of chimpanzee faeces.
