My favorite statistic this season, these guys swept the throws and are all 3 sport athletes that combined to miss zero practices, attended zero combines, paid nothing in club fees or personal trainers and they will all compete in college in the sport of their choosing.

Congratulations to the 26 athletes who qualified in total for 19 different events at next weekend’s State meet!

New School Record in the Girls DMR!!! Congrats to @paytonfink Brooklyn, Emily, & Rylee The previous record was 12:50, set in 1998. The new record is 12:37. They also raced the 4x800 where they were just 6 seconds off that school record, running a time of 9:46. Congrats ladies!

Congratulations to @jswag1968 on being recognized as an Educator of Excellence at WRHS! One of the best (teacher and coach) who is retiring at the end of the school year! @RuralXC

Take time to teach proper striking — A few inches too can be the difference between overstressing the hamstrings and not. Compound this stress over thousands of steps and you can see how this will break the hamstrings down over time. Coach the sprints up accordingly.
