🇷🇺Russian Foreign Ministry statement regarding recent developments concerning Iran: We are deeply concerned about the escalating armed confrontation across the Middle East, resulting from US and Israeli aggression against Iran. It is evident that, beyond pursuing regime change in Iran through the most unscrupulous methods, including the murder of a sovereign state’s leadership, Washington and Tel Aviv are also seeking to undermine efforts aimed at normalising relations between Iran and its Arab neighbours. For our part, we call for the immediate cessation of hostilities by all sides and, as an unconditional priority, the adoption of comprehensive measures to ensure the safety of civilians and civilian infrastructure in all countries of the region. The strike on a girls’ school in the Iranian city of Minab, which claimed the lives of dozens of innocent children, warrants the strongest condemnation. Attacks on civilian targets, whether in Iran or in Arab states, are unacceptable and must be completely ruled out. Russian Ambassador’s greetings message on the occasion of the Kuwaiti National Holidays: Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the State of Kuwait Vladimir Zheltov extended his sincere congratulations to the Kuwaiti leadership - His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishaal Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, the members of the Council of Ministers and to the friendly people of Kuwait on the occasion of the 65th Anniversary of Kuwait National Day and the 35th Anniversary of Liberation Day. “Maslenitsa” holiday celebrated at the Embassy of Russia in Kuwait On February 22, the staff of the Embassy of Russia in Kuwait celebrated the traditional Russian “Maslenitsa” holiday. Students of the Embassy’s school acted in a colorful musical and theatrical concert. First graders’ performance was especially touching. The event continued with thematic folk challenges and games, as well as a classic “khorovod” round dance. Finally the guests shared an abundant table with treats of the Russian cuisine. The festive day wouldn’t be complete without blinis –a traditional dish that serves as a bridge between generations. О праздновании Масленицы в Кувейте 22 февраля коллектив Посольства России в Кувейте отпраздновал широкую Русскую Масленицу. С красочным музыкально-театральным представлением выступили учащиеся школы при диппредставительстве. Особенно трогательным было выступление первоклашек. Мероприятие продолжили состязания и народные забавы с дружным хороводом. И, конечно, не обошлось без блинов – атмосферу передаваемых из поколения в поколение традиций подчеркивал обильный стол с угощениями русской кухни.

Defender of the Fatherland Day reception held at the Russian Embassy in Kuwait   On February 15, 2026, the Embassy of Russia in Kuwait hosted a festive reception on the occasion of Defender of the Fatherland Day.  More than 200 guests attended the military-diplomatic event. Among those invited were high-level commanders of the armed forces, political and civil society figures, representatives of the business circles, Kuwaiti media outlets, bloggers and the friendly diplomatic corps. Our compatriots as well as graduates of Soviet / Russian universities also participated in the reception. The event’s special atmosphere was complimented by a live performance of the best known classical pieces of Russian music. Military, Air and Naval Attaché Colonel Petr Rylshchikov addressed the guests with a welcoming speech. #День_защитника_Отечества

Желтов. ⸻ 🎄 New Year’s Celebration held in Kuwait 🎄 As part of a long-standing and cherished tradition, a festive event dedicated to the upcoming New Year 2026 was held at the Russian Embassy in Kuwait on December 24. 🎭🎶 Students and teachers of the secondary school at the Embassy prepared a theatrical and musical performance in a modern interpretation inspired by the timeless Soviet film classic “New Year Adventures of Masha and Vitya.” A storyline familiar to many since childhood was creatively reimagined and warmly received by the audience. ✨ The festive atmosphere was further enhanced by musical performances that evoked a heartfelt response from Embassy staff and guests representing the Russian community. 🎤 Ambassador of Russia to Kuwait H.E. 🇷🇺Prime Minister M.Mishustin on the results of the EAEU’s work: We are seeing off the outgoing year with tangible results in key economic indicators The final meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council this year was held in Moscow. Mikhail Mishustin spoke about the preliminary results of the EAEU’s work in 2025. “Together, we are creating conditions to improve the quality of life of citizens and strengthen national economies, as well as to implement major joint projects in various fields,” the Head of Government noted. 📍In 2025, the EAEU’s key indicators showed good results: the Union’s gross domestic product, industrial production, agriculture, construction, and retail trade turnover. Entrepreneurial activity is growing: investment in fixed capital across the EAEU as a whole increased by more than 6% in the first half of the year. 📍A program to subsidize interest rates on loans for projects involving companies from at least three member states is operating to support high-tech industries. This mechanism will also be extended to the agro-industrial complex. 📍This year, the Strategic Program for Scientific and Technological Development of the Eurasian Economic Union was approved. Its implementation will help accelerate the creation and introduction of innovations in the EAEU countries. 📍At the beginning of 2025, an agreement was signed allowing enterprises of the Union’s countries to place their securities on stock exchanges in any state of the “five”. 📍The share of national currencies in settlements within the Union reached 93%, and in foreign trade contracts between Russian businesses and entrepreneurs from other Union countries it exceeded 98%. 📍Practical implementation of the free trade agreement with Iran has begun. Agreements have been signed with the UAE and Mongolia. Negotiations are underway with India.
