After the stop began, Calvo turned on the red and blue emergency lights on the rear of his city-issued vehicle. The officer questioned him about activating the lights and warned that doing so could be considered a third-degree felony for falsely assuming the role of a law enforcement officer. Calvo was issued two traffic citations totaling $308 and has pleaded not guilty to the tickets. They should have taken him to jail.
