It really feels like people want to take a tackle at 6 just to fill an empty roster spot. Outside of Mauigoa, none of these tackles is worth that high of a pick imo.
In January, Monroe Freeling was projected to go at Pick 79 in the third round. Now, he’s being mocked at 6 overall. That’s a wildly drastic rise.
And he’s played zero football games in that time span.
On the other side of the argument, Carnell Tate has never been projected outside the top-10.

Phil Taylor predicts Dawand Jones could earn a starting role for the Browns, citing his strong rehab progress and potential to impress during camp.
"I feel like no spots are really solidified yet. It's going to be one of those things after OTAs and camp, and see how [Dawand Jones] comes back from the injury. He played well under Callahan. We'll see how coach Warhop does things. Dawand's hitting that rehab good and he'll get that starting spot."
