I'm excited to announce today that, after 23 years as a freelancer, I've joined the staff of @DesignNews as a senior editor, covering automotive engineering, technology and design.

I was lucky enough to be invited to a charity event tonight at the Meadowbrook Hall on the Oakland University campus. Such an amazing bit of automotive history.

After a tough start to the year I decided to take a road trip over to Road America to see ,and help out some friends at the Formula Ford 50th celebration.

@JerzViper Bobby, congratulations, what a fantastic accomplishment. The family business history is amazing. Just think of the changes your company has navigated in all those years. I bet there are some amazing stories.

We had a great weekend at Mid Ohio. Megan on the grid, just before her race today.

I got my nerd on this weekend and organized the race car gear sets. Simple, but long needed. Good way to spend the ice covered weekend, along with some IMSA and INDY racing on the shop TV.

Just picked up this triple black beauty. Leather and suede seats alloy wheels, heavy duty tires. Kathy and I will see if the radically modified rear suspension really improves lap times. 😎

Spent a great evening with Kathy and friends at the new indoor velodrome in Detroit. Great racing, amazing speeds.
