For those interested the @EnglandHockey annual report is out (good job hiding it). To say it’s damning is an understatement. Making a loss, very minimal revenue increases. That’s not to mention low levels of assets. The update on the performance programme is, well lacking

There will be more time to discuss it properly, but with today's result and the likely ramifications: I don't think a team will win 6 in a row again in the current WSL era. I think it is quite unlikely that a team goes unbeaten in a WSL season again.

Social media guys to concerned with calling people out for things and not a clear strategy. Current ground could be fine with some work, it’s a proper ground

@RussellLuke24 @davidrichards To an extent, I agree. But for years the "world's oldest" is all the Club has had. The ground situation has been farcical, there's been sporadic (failed) periods of investment and practically no attempt to draw fans in. That said, the old boys' network seems to have fizzled.

Pay to play and still achieve the same as England. Outrageous that GB funding effectively goes to England only

@davidrichards @davidrichards I am sure you have done your research but an example of how to run and grow a non league club from a football point of view is Farnham Town. Harry has done great work there and lots can be applied to Sheffield FC

@davidrichards I have said for years that the potential is there, the club should be towards the top of non league. So much untapped potential and such a great chance to make something brilliant for the community.
