It has been made known that these Pilgrims are humbly offering this Statue of the Mother of God as a gift to the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin @KremlinRussia_E For those who do not know, this Pilgrimage started in Fatima in 2021, and it went through #Santiago de Compostela, #Lourdes, across the Pyrenees, #Strausbourg, then #Denmark, #Sweden, #Finland then they crossed the border town of #Narva, #Estonia into #Russia... They went to #StPetersburg and then started the trek to #Moscow. The Image of the Mother of God arrived in Red Square on July 21st on the Orthodox Feast of Our Lady of #Kazan (one of the 4 Great Icons of Russia), the miraculous icon of the Rus that was sold by the #Bolsheviks and ultimately recovered by the Blue Army and installed in Fatima for a number of years and was returned by Rome to Russia in 2004. It was a stunning experience to be standing in Red Square with this image of #OurLadyofFatima.
