Today's "Odd Tank" is the 🇫🇷 French 'ARL-44 ACL-1' Built in the 1940's after the end of WW2, this Heavy Tank prototype would only have a single unit produced in this configuration. This initial model featured the ACL-1 turret and the hull armor reaching up to only 60mm thick, both of which would be changed for the final production model. A common misconception online is that it uses an American 76mm M1 gun, but this is not the case. The main armament is a 75mm SA44 gun.
