Motors do the equivalent of 200 billion people worth of work. 95% of the jobs have been automated already to give us the current standard of living. We need to 10x this. Why? Because the median person outside of the USA does about $7 per day of consumption spending. That is 1/10th of the median person in the USA. So just to bring the rest of the world to the same level of consumption as the median person in USA, we need to 10x our existing productivity. That is going to take 50 to 80 billion robots, if we are lucky.
