RPCL management recently hosted a distinguished delegation composed of officials from the Rwanda Revenue Authority, Tanzania Revenue Authority, and Burundi OBR. The team toured the RPCL Plant structures to discuss shared goals and regional cooperation.

This morning, CP Vincent Sano, Deputy Inspector General of Police in charge of Operations, received a firefighting truck donated by Rusumo Power Company Limited (RPCL), at the Rwanda National Police General Headquarters in Kacyiru, Kigali. He noted that the truck will strengthen fire response capacity, helping protect lives, property, and improve public safety as the country continues to grow.

Strengthened hydrological services requires robust institutions and sustained regional collaboration. No single country can do this alone. 💧This 2nd stakeholder workshop marks a shift from dialogue to delivery. On Dec 6, 2025, RPCL Board of Directors attended a farewell party and celebrated the new management. @eric_muganwa committed to strengthen RPCL team building, “together, we will hold ourselves to excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement”, he said.

The local leadership of Rusumo villages of both Rwanda and Tanzania sides often reach out to Rusumo communities to take stock of the progress of handing over repaired and reconstructed of those structures.

Rusumo community members are very excited to receive the modern houses and the conducive environment established in their neighborhood. The same compensation was given to Rusumo communities affected by blasting works in Tanzania whereby about 540 structures were restored.
