Tomorrow, we gather with Uganda’s technology and public sector leaders for the FWaaS Awareness Workshop 2026. Spidd is proud to power this important engagement alongside our partner, Palo Alto Networks, in support of the incredible work being led by NITA-Uganda. As I have always said, If you have a problem with menstrual blood, then just date a man. Women menstruate it is not news. And sometimes, mistakes will happen. If you think this little blood messes up your car, then wait till she has to push a baby out in the car while you are stuck in jam rushing to the hospital, you will see real blood. And if she had a heavy meal before labor begins, Number 2 will actually come out before the baby. So this is nothing lads. As long as you are straight and love women, then terms and conditions apply.😉 abakyala bazira.

Let’s recap yesterday’s SafeSister webinar on AI for digital security, empowerment, and safer online spaces. Panellists underscored that AI cannot replace human judgment and should not be relied upon to make critical organisational decisions. Key concerns raised included data privacy and ownership, as well as ensuring that AI tools align with organisational policies and inclusivity principles. The conversation also stressed practical measures for safer use, including protecting personal information, strengthening digital security practices, verifying information, and promoting accountability in AI systems, while encouraging users to adopt AI in ways that are both empowering and secure. @RuthAtim speaking from her perspective as a WHRD and entrepreneur working in Northern Uganda, urged other WHRDs in her remarks to think of AI as their smart assistant who can complete tasks in the shortest time possible. But further urged WHRDs to beware of deepfakes that discredit WHRDs who are at the forefront of fighting for the rights of others. #DigitalSecurity #SafeSisters

@RuthAtim explains that the risk to being left behind is greater and this lies with vulnerable groups such as young women, rural youth, people that are displaced stemming from the challenge of luck of digital tools hence no infrastructural access
