@cdbirt here. It’s with great sadness that I announce the death of our brilliant Mum, Wife, Grannie and friend Audrey Birt
She died peacefully surrounded by family after the swift worsening of her cancer
We’re all so sad but take comfort in her love, kindness and passion xxx

Lost my lovely wee dad just before midnight on Monday night. 84 years full of love (but fewer chances to ride tigers as he might have imagined when this was taken).
Feel oddly rootless.

Today has been another mad day in Scottish politics but this morning put everything into perspective when we said goodbye to wonderful Sarah (Howden/Johnston). A beautiful soul and a fantastic colleague - an Edinburgh It Girl who will be so missed by her family and friends 💔

After 20+ years listening to @TimJays witter on about cricket, finally went to my first match today. Not only did I enjoy it, I actually understood what was going on. Really impressed by #TheHundred and now fully fledged Trent Rockets fan. 100 balls only-the way fwd @TrentBridge

@markballard27 Thanks for sharing. We’re just back from a trip to Spain via ferry. V keen to continue exploring alternatives to flying. Can’t recommend @BrittanyFerries highly enough. Brand new low emissions ferry, fab food, whale and dolphin spotting all made for a great experience.

Today we started our trip by bus, tram, metro and train back from🇨🇿 to 🏴. We really enjoyed our journey to Czechia , and I am going to share details of our journey home to encourage other people to consider not flying on trips like this. 🚆 🚊 🚌 1/n
