This group missed Sunday’s Solidarity March because we were busy loading 2 trucks full of furniture.Then we set up apartments for refugees in the Bronx & Bayonne.But we were in there in spirit! #NoHateNoFear Please support Ruth's Refuge which assists refugees & asylees in NYC.

Ruth's Refuge is doing a full apartment set up for an asylum seeking Mexican family of 3 and for a Nigerian asylum seeker.Both endured immigrant detention.Both enjoyed "shopping" in our storage units but will also need additional items that we have put on Amazon Wishlists.(1/3)

Ruth's Refuge partnered with @jersey_welcome yesterday to ensure that 5 new asylees have the furnishings they need to build a new life after detention. Thanks to all the volunteers who came out today to load up the van and head to NJ.

A family from Ukraine is arriving next week,& @HIASrefugees has asked us for car seats.We have a booster for the older child,but we still need a car seat for the 5 yr old. If u have a car seat appropriate for a 5 yr old that is in great condition,please email leah@ruthsrefuge.org
