Ups and downs, loads of obstacles, some completely out of our control, but ultimately it ends like this. Spent a huge amount of time and money over the last years- but at least I walk away with mostly good memories, friendships and a lot of valuable lessons I am proud of the product we build & proud of the way we chose to operate in this space Thank you to everyone who helped along the way, for the kind words & the support and selflessness from many people in the space. I've been following this manipulation ever since it began Skin manipulation has been rampant in the Rust community for close to 4 years now, and over the last year we've been seeing more and more of this behaviour in the Counter Strike space. To everyone that bought the dip, well done🤑 I think the bull run will continue over the next month and heres why: The volatility we've experienced over the last two weeks has lead to a lot of people reversing trades. This puts a considerable amount of skins under 30 day trade bans. On top of this, Valve has begun imposing permanent bans on people abusing trade reversals, removing skins from circulation for good. Panic sellers have already sold. Right now there are way more people interested in buying skins at discounted prices vs. people trying to sell. I lost €100K+ when the market crashed, but I've now made back all losses by buying the bottom :)

Counter-Strike is considering reverting the trade reversal update because it is completely useless as confirmed by sources close to Valve. Will keep you updated.

The CS2 Skins market cap is down 15.5% after the new update, but here's why i'm not concerned: - Valve has a great team of economists. They wanted this to happen. - The supply of knives & gloves will increase by ≈20-40%, and their prices will fall respectively - The demand for all other skins has increased as they can now be traded up to knives & gloves. As such their prices will increase. Currently the market is overreacting by a long shot so please don't panic sell for these prices. In Gaben we trust 🙏
