Let’s not forget about the CS2 community server browser, because Valve clearly hasn’t. Last week: player animation optimizations (huge FPS boost for large lovbies) Now: Steam Workshop updates. Put it together, and it starts to look like community servers might be making a comeback 👀 For context: since CS2 launched, Valve has basically buried the server browser. What used to be a huge part of CS:GO broke with CS2 as large servers weren’t properly optimized and lagged with as few as ~30 players.

Valve just released the biggest Steam Workshop update in years, a full overhaul focused on faster browsing and smarter filtering. Wider pages with bigger previews, instant filter updates, a new quick-view mode and improved support for mobile + Steam Deck.
