Bill Lawrence has been on an ABSOLUTE heater lately (Shrinking, Rooster, Bad Monkey, Scrubs-revival) so he's more than earned the benefit of the doubt
But there's an obvious aura of "why the hell are we still doing this!?" here (especially after a stinker of a third season)
