@PierrotSakuga Its too bad most the staff of the best team that has worked on a Bleach project pre-TYBW, which was the Hell verse movie, only spilled into the production of the main series post Aizen’s defeat. The animation quality in the regai arc had no reason to be so fluid and well directed

Q: Are animals that die in the Human World also subject to konsō (Soul Burial)? I thought it would be interesting if, for example, the spirit of an elephant that once lived in a zoo existed in the Seireitei. Kubo: Yes, they are. Nowadays, they can be given a special feed called Konsō-bait, which allows them to be sent on. Before Konsō-bait was developed, animals were sent off the same way as humans— struck individually (per head) with the hilt.

Q: Although Aizen Sōsuke and Zaraki Kenpachi are among the most powerful characters in the story, why were they never shown interacting or clashing? I would’ve loved to see them exchange words or blows! Kubo: Because, frankly… their interaction wouldn’t have been interesting to begin with.
