@gregsasso @fhollenbach @cullenhendrix Yes, that's a good example of pretty efficient train travel. It's interesting to me that people often don't seem to include Italy in discussions of efficient trains.

@cullenhendrix I've got an honest question about this: the distance from DC to Boston is a bit over 450 miles. What other country has efficient train travel covering a distance of 450 miles? (the answer might be China, but train travel there is opaque to me, so I don't know if that's true)
