The best part about the game of football is THE PLAYERS. The men in the arena. The young men that play the game at the collegiate level hold a special place in my heart. The best of the best want to be great. They want to be coached. They want to be pushed. They want to ascend. Look at the faces of Caleb Downs and Carnell Tate as I was talking to them both. They were LOCKED IN. They soak up knowledge like a sponge. The see through BS. They recognize real. The best of the best. Man I love this game. And I love and respect the players. Always will. It’s a brotherhood, no matter what colors you have worn. 🫡 @ohiostatebuckeyes @OhioStateFB @OhioStAthletics

Everything and everyone matters when you’re pursuing greatness and trying to get the most out of players on a team. We are fortunate to have the coaching staff we have. The coaches put in 2-3x the work in preparation as players. I appreciate Coach @OGWalt_ putting the effort into these moments to create more connection with the young guys. These moments are why these young guys go out and go all out for him. There’s lots that goes into running a team. You need all coaches and players moving in the right direction. All coaches have different styles and techniques to create connection. It’s cool that this is one of them. @OhioStateFB

This evening was super special to me. I got an award from @ryandaytime and his wife (Nina) presented to me on behalf of the @osuwexmed for displaying RESILIENCE in the realm of mental health. They recognized me for overcoming personal struggles and having the ability to take my struggles and use them to help others. I’ve owned a Mental Health and Recovery Center for almost 10yrs now. We’ve (Red Zone) helped thousands of adults and adolescents with various mental health and substance abuse issues throughout the state. This award is for them more than it is me. The people who does the rigorous day in and out work help me to have this reputation. Thanks again to all staff members who’ve allowed me to say amazing things about the work we do. I wouldn’t be where I’m at now in life if I didn’t address my mental health and get professional assistance to help me govern myself better. This is another victory and title in my world. I live in Title Town. I want to thank everyone who’s ever assisted me in getting my life in order. Family, friends, business partners, brothers in prison, probation officers, correctional officers, senior citizens and everyone in between. It’s appreciated. The greatest joy of all is having my family be proud of me. Having them see me at my best is important to me. They’ve been there throughout all of the criticism and heartbreak. I’ve redeemed all that. I’m enjoying the results from it. Thx again!
