Umm because the USA has 4 professional fast twitch teams sports that chews up all the athletic talent? USWNT doesn't compete with an NFL MLB NHL and hence their ranking this century I couldn't imagine NFL athleticism growing up playing soccer as their #1 sport.

No one has figured out how to make airports scale well. The best experiences are all at low pax volume, private followed by small commercial airports.
I think about this a lot in the shower. It is possible to design great large airports. But it hasn’t been done yet.
