Far too aggressive a swerve. Putting everyone at risk on the other carriageway. The land-rover guy was the one who made the biggest error here. The best action is to brake, perhaps deviate a little, and ram the back of that car at low speed. You will be ok. Drivers around you will be ok. Other carriageway users will be ok. Your land-rover will need minor repairs. No big drama. Instead, we get zero braking and a big roll-over drama and attendant court case. Land rover guy should be banned for five years, for crazy driving. .

A MILITARY driver broke his back when he was thrown from his Land Rover after taking evasive action on the A43 at Hulcote. Crenguta Aruxandei, 44, admitted causing serious injury by careless driving. She received a six-month SUSPENDED SENTENCE and a one-year driving ban.
