the super fun part about is that i know this experience firsthand! and so do my peers! I can’t even tell you how many people would simultaneously say they want me dead and they want to f**k me. it’s disgusting and it’s so prevalent.

Seeing the pro-Trump business owner in Melbourne and the surprising election results, snapped me out. You’re right, it’s everywhere.

@jocelynaspa I feel this on a very deep personal level. I have connections with friends and will always consider them to be good friends, even if I only talk with them a couple times a year! Also, I’ll be in Vancouver again at the end of the month! 👋

@RichLando @verucasalt @charlybliss My musical tastes are very diverse, so I usually have a few recommendations based on who you like. I rely on music services (Apple, much more than Spotify or Amazon) and Bandsintown to discover new music and who’s playing near me. Often opening bands are pleasant surprises!

@RichLando @verucasalt Their 2nd album, Young Enough, is also amazing if you didn’t check it out... it’s more modern, but so so good! If you’re one for live music. Don’t miss them if they come through your part of the world! I see a lot of shows (and have tons of video), but @charlybliss is my fav!

@RichLando I’ve shared a bunch of video and lead off my pinned tweet with that show in January 2018. A lot of it is buried, I’ve shared some to YouTube, but the vast majority is in my library and I need to find a way to process and distill all that down. So much great concert footage!

@RichLando I am very very spoiled. I was just a kid, but I saw their very first show in Chicago in the early 90s and got to know them that day. Reconnected with them and followed them around for their two tours after they reunited. Ive seen them at least 50 times! twitter.com/ryank/status/9…

@harper I have a more obscure recommendation for you. “Traveling in Space” by Steven Paul Leiva (and the audio book is well done by Jeff Cannata who does many many voices). It’s a comedic take on a first contact story, told from the aliens perspective. It’s really great!

@dryan There’s a ton of acronyms on my day job. The first time I’m talking to people, I use acronyms if they use them properly. If I’m unsure at all, I use the acronym, they briefly say the full name and sometimes a brief description of appropriate. It is super important.
