BTW "Ripping" in the Mortgage business is "Oh look, went up a bit" in other businesses
But as I posted a few days ago: if you CAN lock in a 3 or 5 Yr Fixed Rate below 4%

Today's CPI Report would have provided cover for the BoC to cut it's key rate at the end of April or June but the War in The Middle East wiped away that possibility
No Cuts in the future now

Provincial Housing Tax.... In the Town of Aurora alone we could see an added 6% increase to the already tabled 3.5% and/or service cuts to cover the shortfalls from the Province's Bill 23. This is the reality facing municipalities across the GTHA.
