Cooler weather ahead: we're still expecting a morning in the 40s to close out the work week, a beautiful weekend will follow. In the meantime, mostly cloudy conditions with a few passing showers. @nbc6

Friday: -A low of 45° would be the coldest in Miami since January of 2023. In other words, it's been a while 😄 Now, we're not going to build igloos with this next front - but we haven't been colder than 40° (2020) since dipping to 36° in December of 2010. @luistiempo51

Breezy conditions with passing showers for the next few days... before "January" makes a come back later in the week. A stronger front catches us by Thursday afternoon. The change in the air will be noticeable starting Friday morning.

Following a little bit of patchy fog inland, look for a sunny Monday with highs around 80°. Get used to it, the forecast looks much the same all week long.

Tuesday's cold front will send overnight lows into the upper 40s Wednesday morning, mid-40s early Thursday. Said another way in two photos:

At the rate that this front is going...passage first thing in the morning (Tuesday) will make for a delightfully pleasant day with highs in the lower 70s.

A warm Monday will make way for a pleasant cool-down to close out 2025... no records, just right.

"Winter" makes a return to South Florida this week as cooler air sweeps across the region...this will lead to several days with below-average temperatures. 2025 ends on a cool note as nighttime lows hover around 50 degrees to bring in the New Year. 🍾 @nbc6
