Slept on it.. You start to get to a stage where there’s not even anger nor disappointment anymore and that’s actually a worrying sign. The predictability in which this football club goes about their business at times is beyond fathomable, we just self capitulate both on and off the field. If we had a quid for every time a pundit or expert said that we’ve got great players, we won’t go down etc but the fact is, they haven’t seen enough of us this season to make a compelling case to stay up. I think the most concerning thing for me is the lack of learning from mistakes. We are human, we make mistakes and for that I accept. What I don’t accept is for the same issues to rear their ugly head and continue down the same path of self destruction. Same set piece frailty in both boxes, same cut back every single time we get in behind before inevitable shit cross, same flaccid shooting when we get decent chances and the same defending allowing balls to bounce in our box or lazy defending. We are not asking for total football, merely football that shows us that we are able to learn, adapt, grow. Fulham is must win for me now, stakes couldn’t be higher. It’s not just about the game itself it’s about turning a corner at the City Ground where we are not collecting enough points. Marker set versus Fulham or we go down for me. #NFFC
